Mathias, who holds a BEng. in Metallurgy from the Namibia University of Science and Technology, boasts over 4 years of experience in the mining industry, particularly with B2Gold Corp. Namibia and Weatherly Mining Namibia. While his primary expertise lies in gold and copper mining, he has also extensive testwork experience with minerals like graphite and fluorspar. He began his career as a Graduate Metallurgical Engineer at B2Gold Corp., focusing on process improvements, and later transitioned to a Process Engineer role at Weatherly Mining, where he managed production planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
