EKIN GÜNGÖR
Metallurgical Engineer
Ekin has a BSc in Mining Engineering from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara and over 10 years’ experience in mine and minerals processing, especially gold and silver. He worked in Turkey and West Africa in different of positions such as, plant engineer at a Merrill Crowe unit of a silver mine and plant superintendent of a CIL gold plant. He also has good experience with drill and blast and mining operations. In mid-2021 he returned to the Turkey to join the new execution team of the main office of the company he worked for , before joining MMS in September.
Ekin’s position at Maelgwyn is Project Execution Engineer where he is responsible for the regional on-site activities of the company in Turkey and near countries as well as helping research studies followed by R&D team of the company. He reports directly through to the Manager of Engineering
Ekin is a registered engineer to the Chambers of Mining Engineers in Turkey.
